Artist Statement

My art is a unique blend of classical painting and disruptive abstraction, celebrating human emotions and experiences. I use classical painting techniques infused with a contemporary vision to create artworks that pay homage to the lives of others.
Each painting begins by exploring the lives of my subjects through conversations and collaboration. I aim to uncover their unique challenges, unexpected turns of fate, moments of triumph, and deepest desires, turning these personal narratives into universally relatable compositions.

Beneath our busy lives, there's a shared human experience we all understand. The torn and distressed surfaces in my artwork reflect life's disruptions and complexities, avoiding a simple narrative. Instead, they tap into the emotions and inner yearnings that connect us all on our collective journey.
