Bio

Daria, is an artist and designer, based in New York City. Her artistic vision is deeply intertwined with the beauty of the natural world, serving as an endless source of inspiration for her work. Her mission is to bring the therapeutic power of art to her audience.

Daria takes part in exhibitions and publications on a global scale such as Boomer Gallery, Beyond Art Space Gallery, Grand Bohemian Gallery, Van Der Plas Gallery, CCAN, and Jones Gallery, and etc.

Artist Statement

My paintings involve many themes that intersect with my personal transformation and growth. My art reveals these themes through images of animals and plants, highlighting their interrelationships, meanings, symbolism, and surreal elements. Some of my artworks are dedicated to the inner child and aspects of joy, featuring playful interactions with the world. Others are about the discovery of new things and the ability to see things in a new way. Some focus on themes of relationships, spiritual growth and transformation. My paintings are rich in symbolism and subtle meanings, which may be hidden in some ways. Through animal imagery, I convey qualities inherent to each animal, reminding viewers of people’s differences, personalities, and qualities. For example, cheetahs represent aesthetics, power, and speed, while koalas symbolize gentleness and a sense of maternal, soothing safety. I also pay significant attention to color harmony as a primary language of art. Based on my educational background, I perceive and create paintings as a combination of shapes, colors, and textures, where every element plays an important role and complements the others, creating a unified piece.
