Artist Statement

Photography serves as a means of communication for me. Since I began my journey in photography, I have used my sensitive heart to observe the world and myself. My works predominantly revolve around my reflections on self-emotions and intimate relationships, exploring my connections with lovers, family, and my own being. Through a continual interrogation of the themes of self and "love," I have encountered immense pain, a pain I hope can be perceived.

In my documentary photography, I have consistently attempted to conceal myself. I don't wish for my lens to be cold, forceful, or seen from a superior standpoint. Instead, I aspire for my lens to be a gentle exploration, a reinterpretation infused with my own emotions, and an equal exchange with others.
