NiSa – the girl who likes to doodle. My mother convinced me that the profession should be reliable, able to feed. That's why I'm a financier by training. But my heart has always been drawn to art. I was born in Russia in the early 90s, and from childhood I was not comfortable in this country. It was like I didn't belong there. While I was growing up and everyone around me was gradually losing their individuality, I learned to think, to be outside the box, to act differently from what was suggested. Everyone shunned me, I was constantly noticed, rather even singled out and treated in a special way. It was obvious that I was not among my own. After escaping that world and settling down with my family in western Europe, I realised it was time to do what I really wanted to do - create. I stocked up with online courses on painting with different materials, watercolors, markers, acrylics. But it was only the beginning, because my soul demanded more, it asked to create without ceasing. I wanted to express myself, to work with my hands and create unique works. Some may say that my work looks rough, sloppy, even dirty. But that's what makes my art so special. After all, we are always in the process of learning, and I am ready to learn all my life, exploring new methods and creative approaches. It's part of me, my passion, and I can't imagine my life without art. My works are an unbridled mix of techniques and colors that reflect my thoughts, my past and possible future.
