Are you an artist looking for an opportunity to showcase your work on an international platform? Look no further! Artianne Magazine is thrilled to announce an open call for art for our upcoming Issue #1.
Apply to have your artwork considered in the art magazine, Issue #1 by Artianne. We are dedicated to elevating the work of emerging artists of all mediums around the world through our high quality art magazines and caliber of exposure. This issue will be sent out to leading galleries and art institutions. Accepted artists will also have a written statement about their works by an arts writer and have a pages spread of their work.

"Publication Opportunity for Emerging Artists”
Accepted artists will work closely with Artianne in the bookmaking process. Each artist will have at least four-pages dedicated to their work, and a short essay written about their work by an arts writer. Issue #1 will release in Summer 2024.
Artists will also receive a complimentary digital copy of the publication and post on social media.

Eligible Artists
- Visual Artists 18 years and older from any country are eligible to submit.
- Artists of all academic disciplines are welcome to apply. This includes in any medium: painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, photography, textile, installation, film, performance art, digital and any mixed media.
- Artists or any art organizations on behalf of artists from all countries are welcome to submit.

Requirements (Submission Guidelines)
- Artists may submit up to 7 images (for an individual work, or multiple works) for consideration.
- Artists must ensure the high-quality of images. (The ideal image should have a resolution of at least 250 dpi, with a maximum of 3000 pixels on the larger side), and should not exceed 16 MB in file size.
- Works must be submitted in a printable format (only JPEG or PNG + Link of video for reference).
- Artists selected for the publication will be asked to submit print-ready images if it's not enough.
- Artwork images must be uploaded directly to the form.
- Artist statement and biography must be up to 400 words written directly to the form (please do not copy/paste your CV or list of shows).
- There is no specific theme for this open call.
- Artwork does not have to be for sale, and previously published work is accepted.
Selected Artists
If your work is selected, it will be published in a full-color in both the print and digital versions of the magazine that will include your artist biography and statement, website, social media, and artwork images. We also promote artists individually via the website and social media posts.
* Even if your work is not chosen for our print and digital magazine, we offer the chance to showcase it on our website's exclusive "Selected Artists" permanent section. This dedicated space will feature a specific page for each artist which share your biography, statement, and display your works. By taking advantage of this unique opportunity, your art will reach a larger audience of art enthusiasts and fellow artists. We value the growth and evolution of your artistic journey and look forward to supporting you in showcasing your talent.
This open call also provides tangible support for their ongoing artistic endeavors, not only celebrates the artist's achievements.
Important Dates
Submission Deadline: June 28th, 2024, 11:59 pm EST.
- All artists will be notified of the final decision by the end of June, 2024. If your work is selected, you will receive further information at that time.
- All selected work will be included in the print issue due by the last week of June. Artists will have an opportunity to review their spread and make edits if necessary before print.
- The selected artist will receive a complimentary digital edition of the publication.
* Depending on the status of submissions, the deadline may be earlier or later.

Submission fee includes the cost of inviting a jury panel and evaluating the artworks for review. A non-refundable submission fee is required for each submission.

Agreement
Artianne reserves the right to use images of the artwork on its website and social media. By submitting artwork via this call, the artist agrees to the terms outlined above. Artist retains full copyright of the work. Images will not be used by Artianne aside from the print issue, website, interviews, and social media posts.
Artists are responsible for dues. These dues will help cover some of the distribution and operating costs.
